Kolstad Insurance Services, LLC is an independent insurance agency in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This policy covers the quote pages on this subdomain (quote.kolstadins.com), which people usually reach from one of our ads. If anything here is unclear, call us at 910-378-1378 and ask. What you give us
When you fill out a quote form here, you provide information such as your ZIP code, what you want covered, your trade or the type of policy, your timing, your name, phone number, and email address. If you go on to become a client, we collect the additional information needed to quote and service your policies, which in insurance is called nonpublic personal information.
Your consent record
The form includes a consent checkbox that authorizes us to contact you by phone, text, and email about your request. When you check it and submit, we keep a record of the exact consent language you agreed to, the version of that language, and the date and time you submitted. We keep that record for several years because federal telemarketing rules expect us to be able to prove your consent. The form may also use a third-party consent-verification service (TrustedForm) that documents the form as you saw it; that certificate is part of the same record.
Texting, and how to stop it
If you consent, we may text you about your quote and your policies. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or call 910-378-1378; reply HELP for help. Stopping texts does not affect any coverage you have with us.
What we collect automatically
These pages may use an advertising measurement pixel (from Meta) so we can tell which ads lead to quote requests. That pixel is loaded from Meta, so your browser contacts Meta directly and Meta's own privacy terms apply to that contact. Apart from that, these pages do not run third-party analytics and do not capture what you type until you press submit.
How we use it
We use what you give us to respond to your request, shop your coverage with the carriers we represent, service your policies, and stay in touch about your account. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
Who it goes to
We do not sell your information. We share it in these situations: with the insurance carriers and wholesalers we approach on your behalf, so they can quote and issue your coverage; with the service providers that run these pages and our office systems, such as our website host, our agency management and CRM system, our messaging provider, and the consent-verification service described above; and where the law requires it.
How we protect it
These pages are served over an encrypted connection. Access to client information inside our office is limited to the licensed staff and support personnel who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Call 910-378-1378 or email office@kolstadins.com and a person at our office will handle it. Note that consent records we are required to keep, and policies already in force, may be retained as the law and carrier requirements dictate.
Children
These pages are meant for adults shopping for insurance. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. This version is effective August 2, 2026.
